USC’s sixth First Team All-American and the first to win the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year Award, JuJu Watkins enters her second season of competition at USC.
2023-24 SEASON
• Set the all-time national record for scoring by a freshman with 920 points
• Set USC record (male or female) with 14 games with 30 or more points scored
• No. 2 scorer in the nation with her 27.1 points per game
• Had a USC record-breaking 51-point outing in a road upset of Stanford — the most points scored by any player in the nation in 2023-24
• Her 42 points vs. Colorado on Feb. 23 was the most points ever scored by a USC basketball player (male or female) at Galen Center
• Her 241 free throws made was a USC single-season record.
• Averaged a team-high 2.3 steals and 3.3 assists per game
• USC’s second leading rebounder with 7.3 per game and second in shot blocks with 1.7 per game
• One of just five Pac-12 players ever to tally at least 750 points, 150 rebounds and 50 steals in a season
• Recorded nine double-doubles
• Scored 32 points vs. Ohio State in her USC debut, marking the most points every scored by a Trojan in her first game as a true freshman.

• At 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup, started all seven games, made a team-high nine 3-pointers and averaged a team-high 13.1 points to go along with 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.3 steals
• Had 25 points and nine rebounds in the quarterfinal win over Japan.
• At 2021 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, started in all six games and averaged team highs of 20.0 ppg and 5.2 spg to go with 5.7 rpg and 3.7 apg
• Scored 28 points in the gold-medal win over Canada
HIGH SCHOOL
As a senior out of Sierra Canyon High, Watkins was named the Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year — joining 1990 honoree Lisa Leslie as the only two USC players to do so... Also named Gatorade California Player of the Year in 2022 as a junior... Named USA Today HSSA Girls Basketball Player of the Year in 2023... Won 2023 Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Trophy alongside USC men's basketball signee Isaiah Collier, marking the first time in history that the Naismith's top high school basketball awards have both gone to athletes signed on to attend to the same university... Lisa Leslie also was the last USC female to win that award... Twice named MaxPreps Player of the Year and was selected Co-MVP at the 2023 McDonald's All-American Game... Named WBCA High School Player of the Year and to the WBCA Coaches' All-America Team... In her senior season at Sierra Canyon, led the Trailblazers to a 31-1 record and the CIF-Southern Section Open Division title while averaging 27.5 points, 13.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.7 blocks per game... Also attended Windward High... Played club for Cal Swish... An honor student.

Judea "JuJu" Skies Watkins was born was born July 15, 2005 in Los Angeles.... The daughter of Robert and Sari Watkins... Has three siblings: Mali, Dami and Mar... Enjoys fashion in her free time... Lists LeBron James as her biggest sports hero... Hopes to travel to Fiji, Thailand and Singapore... Has always wanted to golf... Would like to play professionally and be an entrepreneur after graduation... Majoring in communication.
